Calling all tertiary students in the Southeast Tasmania region!
Are you currently studying, or have enrolled to start TAFE or University studies in 2026?
If you have a unique student identifier (USI), then you’re eligible to register for the Southeast Tasmania Study Hub. Once registered you’ll be able to access a wide range of support services to set you up for study success.
Academic Support
The Study Hub provides academic support to help students engage confidently with their university studies. This includes:
- •Assistance with navigating university platforms
- • Interpreting assignment requirements and rubrics
- • Developing academic skills
- • Drop-in assignment support sessions
- • Academic writing support
- • Time management strategies
- • General study chats over a cup of tea
Financial Support
The Study Hub can help students explore what support they may be eligible for and connect them with relevant external organisations. This includes guidance on navigating available financial resources, scholarships, and budgeting tools, as well as linking students with services that offer practical support for managing study-related costs.

At the Study Hub, we believe that your wellbeing is just as important as your academic success. Whether you need someone to talk to or help navigating challenges, we’re here to support you. Employment Support
Students can access employment support through our partnership with the BEST Jobs & Training team. Services include:
- • Writing and refining resumes
- • Preparing for job interviews
- • Exploring local employment opportunities
- • Guidance on job applications
- • Connections with training pathways to build work-related skills
Transport Services
Students can access free transport to and from the Study Hub with Area Connect. Times and locations can be arranged with our local Area Connect Coordinator,
Mary-Anne Nieuwenhuizen.

Study Support with Studiosity
In partnership with Libraries Tasmania, students can access free 24/7 online study support via Studiosity. This includes homework support, assignment feedback and practice quizzes. To access, sign up for a free Libraries Tasmania membership.

Tasmanian Assessment, Standards & Certification (TASC)
The TASC website is your go-to hub for Years 11 and 12. It’s packed with everything you need - subject info, exam timetables, study tips, and the TCE Course Planner to help you choose the right subjects and stay on track for your Tasmanian Certificate of Education.

Good Universities Guide
Thinking about uni or further study can feel like a lot - there are so many choices, it’s hard to know where to start. The Good Universities Guide makes it easy by letting you search courses (Uni and VET), find pathways to uni, and learn about different institutions, all in one place.

BEST Employment Support
Business and Employment Southeast Tasmania provides free, personalised employment support to help job seekers succeed. Whether you’re starting your career, looking for casual work while studying, or exploring new opportunities, their team can assist with job searching, resume writing, interview preparation, and connecting you with local employers.

Choosing a career path doesn’t have to feel complicated.
